One of the most evocative is the one that takes place in Oliena to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ (“S’incontru”): when the simulacrum of the Risen Christ meets that one of his mother followed by people dressed in traditional costumes. The event is greeted by shooting blanks, bells’ sound and religious songs performed by the local brotherhoods. After the Easter lunch we could walk together along the village streets to discover the typical murals depicting its history and traditions.
